Advertisers are encouraged to request the Gold Coast Billboards Design Guide before producing artwork.

While guidance may be provided, advertising performance ultimately depends on the advertiser’s creative and marketing strategy.

4.7 ADVERTISING EXPECTATIONS

Billboard advertising primarily provides brand awareness and visibility.

Advertising space is purchased as media exposure rather than a performance-based marketing service.

Results may vary depending on many factors including design, brand recognition, pricing and audience relevance.

For this reason, dissatisfaction with campaign performance or lack of sales does not constitute grounds for refund.

5. BILLBOARD ROTATION AND EXPOSURE

Digital billboard campaigns operate on a shared rotation system.

A maximum of 10 advertisers appear in rotation on each billboard.

Each advertiser receives approximately 10% screen time within the rotation.

6. ADVERTISING SLIDES AND CREATIVE CHANGES

Each advertising contract includes one (1) advertising slide.

Additional slides may be purchased as separate advertising placements.

Advertisers may also book multiple campaigns or additional slides if they wish to display multiple designs.

For campaigns 3 months or longer, Gold Coast Billboards may allow monthly creative changes where reasonably requested.

More frequent changes (such as weekly updates) may be arranged by agreement where operationally practical.

7. COMPETING BUSINESSES

Billboards operate as shared advertising environments.

Gold Coast Billboards does not guarantee industry exclusivity unless specifically agreed in writing.

Advertisers concerned about competitor placement should request information prior to booking.

The presence of competing businesses is not grounds for cancellation or refund.

8. CAMPAIGN RENEWALS

Campaigns of four weeks or longer may receive priority renewal opportunities.

Advertisers wishing to extend campaigns should contact Gold Coast Billboards prior to campaign expiry.

9. EMERGENCY OR PUBLIC MESSAGES

Gold Coast Billboards may interrupt advertising to display emergency notices or public safety messages.

No refunds will be provided for such interruptions. Additional time may be granted.

Billboards may occasionally require maintenance.

If technical interruptions exceed 48 consecutive hours, Gold Coast Billboards may provide reasonable time credits.
